AWARENESS #2
Always be aware of the people around you. If you are in a mall for instance, take good note of the people walking around you, shopping around you, and eating around you. You want to be able to recognize their faces, and attire. If you see the same person, or group of people, repeatedly as you continue to go about, this should raise some flags. (Times have changed, you never know what people may be thinking or planning. Always expect, the unexpected.)
When taking note of people as you go about, you want to be discreet, as to not attract unwanted attention to yourself. As you walk, casually look from left to right. With the help of your peripheral vision, you can see 180 degrees. By turning your head left and right, you are giving yourself a 360 degree view of what is around you.

AWARENESS
When you leave the comfort of your home for work, to go to the grocery store, or especially any high human traffic areas, like the mall, teach yourself to be suspicious of everything and anyone around. Be like a police officer on the lookout.
When you go to your favorite restaurant or a hotel or any building, know where the emergency exits are. Locate yourself near them and be alert to who comes in and leaves.
